Attorney/Client Relationship
The keys to a good attorney-client relationship are cooperation and communication. My client and I are a partnership with the same goal: successful handling of the client's case.
- Communication:
My office policy is to return each client's call within 24 hours. I am readily accessible to my clients in the event of emergencies, which often occur in family law practice. I offer evening and weekend meetings to my working clients. Most importantly, I understand from long years of experience, how chaotic and painful the dissolution of a marriage can be, and how intimidating the divorce process feels. My clients know when they call or come in, that I will be a non-judgmental and sympathetic listener, who will take time to allay their fears and explain the legal process carefully. My clients also know they can count on me for realistic and honest advice and assessment of legal options, based on over 20 years of experience in domestic relations law practice.
- Cooperation:
My clients know that I consider them equal partners in working towards satisfactory conclusion of their cases. Strategies and options are thoroughly discussed, advice is given and a client's decision is supported. My client's concerns are my concerns and together we work towards an effective resolution of the legal issues presented.
